Hi everyone! Jeanne here today with a Flip-its die project.
I think anyone who has visited my blog in the last few months knows I have a wee bit of an addiction to Stephanie Barnard's Flip-its dies. They are so fun and easy to decorate that they make you look like a professional card maker with every project.
I used my Big Shot to die cut pink cardstock with Circle Flip-its die (you'll need a Premium Crease Pad).
Cut two pieces of patterned paper and lay it onto the Flip-its die on both ends.
Trim to the width you like (I trimmed both to 2") and you have a perfect match for the circle cut out.
Die cut 2 white cardstock pieces with Scallop Circle Framelits die and 2 black cardstock pieces with Circle Framelits die.
Assemble and add sentiments with Licorice ink.
Attach sentiment panels to your card on the front and back.
Die cut a small circle from your favorite flesh colored cardstock and stamp the face with Licorice ink. Attach to the top of the sentiment panel. Add lace trim along edges (see finished card) and you're done!
